Young Artists: The Dotted World of Georges Seurat

Did you know you can create a masterpiece using nothing but tiny dots? Young artists (and the young at heart) are invited to explore the colorful world of Pointillism on Saturday, April 11 from 10 am -12 pm at the Bagley Public Library.  The workshop will begin with the story of Georges Seurat, the artist who revolutionized the art world with his “dotted” technique, before participants grab a brush to create their own Seurat-inspired work of art.

This program is geared for youth ages 5–18, though art enthusiasts of all ages are welcome. All supplies are provided free of charge.
