NW Minnesota Food Pack event

This annual event will be held May 16 & 17 at the hockey arena. Approximately 1,000 volunteers will be needed to package more than 100,000 meals. Donations pay for the $0.25 meals. To donate or volunteer, call (218) 533-6029. Volunteers are needed for  the set up shift, one or more of the 2 hour packing shifts, and the clean up shift. Volunteers will receive training prior to each shift and can be done by almost anyone. Last year, there were elementary and high school students from around the area, senior citizens, service clubs, churches and many more that all pitched in to make this a successful event. It’s fun and a great way to help other people.
