Making Spirits Bright activities scheduled

Bagley Community Ed, Bagley Area Chamber and the Bagley Rotary Club are excited to host the third annual Making Spirits Bright holiday event on Friday, December 1.

This is an event where families can enjoy some Christmas cheer while enjoying the holiday lights throughout the community.

The organizers are asking local community businesses and organizations to help celebrate this event by participating in one of two ways – through a financial contribution as a sponsor for the event or by providing a drive-through stop which could include a holiday display, treats, drawing/coloring sheets, make/take crafts, etc. For example, the Bagley Rotary club will be handing out hot cocoa and cookies in from of Faith Lutheran Church.

There will be tour maps that will lead the community to all festivities which will include holiday displays, live music, goodie bags for kids, hot cocoa bar, caroling, “special guests”, and lighting of the “Community Christmas Tree” by the Gerbracht family.

The business/organization tour will take place from 5:00-6:30 pm followed by the lighting of the “Community Christmas Tree” and then a Tour of Homes holiday lights.

We are working with a local radio station to provide families with the opportunity to listen to Christmas tunes in their car while driving throughout the community on the Making Spirits Bright Tour of Homes.
