Library presents “Genealogy 101”

In observance of Family History Month, genealogy expert Rick Crume will offer a series of Genealogy 101 presentations at locations around Lake Agassiz Regional Library’s seven-county region. Crume will be at the Bagley Public Library on Tuesday, October 7 at 2 pm. The presentation will focus on how to access and utilize the genealogy databases available free-of-charge through the library. Crume will be available after to answer questions.
Attendees will learn how to access:
- Historical records from countries around the world
- Family trees with billions of names and in-depth research guides
- Even more historical records on-site at the library than you can view at home
- And much more!
Admission is free thanks in part to funding from the Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage Legacy Fund.
