Bagley Public Library Host for Space Gardening Program
Are you interested in growing a garden but don’t have a lot of space? Join us and learn about small – space gardening. Join the Bagley Public Library for an event designed to help you explore raised beds and container gardening. Master Gardener volunteers Linda Gulbranson, Nancy Ames, Kathy Rasch and Lynn Riggs to discuss the many ways you can create a flourishing vegetable, herb and flower garden while maximizing the space you currently have. Whether you have a small yard, deck, balcony or porch, you can create beautiful flower displays and grow your own fresh vegetables in Minnesota’s Zone(s) 3/4 climate and short growing season.
The workshop is scheduled Saturday, April 25 from 10 am – noon at the Bagley Public Library, 79 Spencer Ave. Topics include: Raised bed, container and vertical gardening, Site, planter and soil selection, Square foot gardening, companion planting and succession planting, and more.
